2. Solvent-based waterproof coatings. In this type of coatings, the polymer material as the main film-forming substance is dissolved in an organic solvent and becomes a solution. The polymer material is stored in the solution (paint) in a molecular state;

This type of coating has the following special characteristics: through solvent volatilization, through the process of polymer molecular chain contact, overlap and other processes; the coating dries quickly, the conjunctiva is thin and dense; the production process is simpler, and the storage stability of the coating is better; It is flammable, explosive, and toxic. Pay attention to safety during production, storage and use; because the solvent evaporates quickly, it will pollute the environment during construction.

3. In this type of coating, the polymer material, which is the main film-forming material, exists in the form of a prepolymer liquid. It is mostly composed of two-component or one-component coatings and contains almost no solvent.

This type of coating has the following characteristics: it evaporates through the process of solid particles approaching, contacting, deforming and forming a film; the coating dries slowly, and the compactness of the one-time film is lower than that of the solvent-based coating, and it is generally not suitable for construction below 5 ℃; The period generally does not exceed half a year; it can be constructed on a slightly damp base; it is non-toxic, non-flammable, relatively safe in production, storage and transportation, and use; it is easy to operate and does not pollute the environment; and the production cost is low.
